I can't believe it's been a month since my last post. Lots going on but not much quilting. I did get my hated lines ripped out. Yay me, but am at a loss of what to do. I have tried a few things and learned my lesson evaluating as I went and ripping before I got too far in.
I bought more fabric and am itchy to cut in but I don't want to put my doggie quilt to the side unfinished.
There have been many days in the past few weeks that I'm craving to shove everything aside and just sew. It probably doesn't help all I have to do is swivel my work chair and I can see my sewing area. The one drawback of working from home so many temptations that have to be denied.
This coming weekend I will be selfish. My non working hours will be dedicated to my sewing machine. As I wrote this the flowers we bought this weekend sitting in their pots actually started to snicker. Ok so maybe not all my time will be in spent sewing. Sigh.
Canada day long weekend came and went in a blink. Garden was weeded and discovered areas that could use a few perennials hence the extra pots waiting to be planted. We spent most of Monday ferrying the kids back and forth. Tons of neighbour's had set off their own fireworks so we got to see them without having to go downtown and battle the crowds.
No pictures today. My youngest has taken over my laptop and my blackberry is dead so I can't transfer my pictures over to my playbook. Hopefully I can reclaim my nikon now that photography class is over til September and start of another school year. Now to find or buy a replacement memory card and my back up card that the house gremlin took. Has to be the gremlin seeing everyone else says they didn't have it. LOL 5years with the same cards and they magically disappear in the past 4 months.
Wishing all my American friends a very happy Independence Day.
